Default W/N Virulent Warrior

Hey, I came up with this build today and thought it had some potential. It's obviously made for PvP but I didn't really test it yet. I have no idea if it has been done before but here it is:

Alternative 1

Alternative 2
[skill]Weaken Armor[/skill][skill]Sever Artery[/skill][skill]Virulence[/skill][skill]Plague Touch[/skill][skill]Gash[/skill][skill]SilverWing Slash[/skill][skill]Final Thrust[/skill][skill]Bonetti's Defense[/skill]

Swordmanship 11 + 1 + 3
Strength 7 + 1
Death Magic 9
Curses 7

Equipement
Armor set increasing energy pool or equivalent in runes is recommanded in case Bonetti's Defense doesn't work properly.

A Furious Sword of Fortitude for faster adrenaline and because the build lacks of a direct self-heal, and if possible, add a "I Have the Power!" inscription for a +5 energy bonus.

Usage
-Before engaging into melee, cast Weaken Armor on target enemy;
-Cast Enraging Charge while running towards target and attack him once to charge up Sever Artery;
-Attack target with Sever Artery then cast Virulence on him followed by Plague Touch to get rid of Disease caused by Virulence;
-Use Gash followed by Final Thrust and Bonetti's Defense while adrenaline is charging back up to always have enough energy to cast Weaken Armor and Virulence on same/another target.

Counters
-Hex removal;
-Condition removal;
-Energy denial.

Variant
-In the first alternative, Final Thrust can be used instead of Silverwing Slash for more damage but harder adrenaline management.
-Bonetti's Defense can be replaced by Signet of Lost Souls for a nice and clean, but a little more conditionnal, energy gain.

Weakon Armor should never ever be used on a Warrior. it's a bad skill anyways.

lacks IAS.

why would you want to use Virulence..? it applies crappy conditions that don't help on a Warrior at all.

Bonetti's Defence is bad, you want damage, not a silly tanking stance.

there's a lack of resurrection signet.

lacks self heal, i'd rather invest into tactics than strength for a healing signet.

it's very energy heavy also.

and uhm yeah..it's not really something you will want to use. you just don't get a lot out of your elite which is the main problem.

plague touch is good utility though.

Please test it, I've tested it for a hour in AB now, had a few problems of self-heal sometimes but other than that I had no real running problems.

No offense, but builds like these make me hate low end PvP. You're sacrificing valuable attribute points to dip into not one, but TWO trees of your secondary profession, both for skills that are easily out classed by what you could accomplish by sticking to your warrior primary. The lack of Resurrection Signet is only acceptable because you're running it in AB, anywhere else you would need one. Weaken Armor is an extremely weak skill to put on a melee character, especially one without spammable base damage skills. Bonetti's Defense should NOT be used in PvP, period. An IAS stance is almost necessary on physical attackers to attain respectable levels of DPS.

If you really want to stick to W/N using swords for use in AB, I would suggest something like the following:
Crippling Slash [E]
Gash
Final Thrust
Healing Signet
Enraging Charge
Frenzy
Plague Touch
[Optional]

Nice, simple, and functional for ABs.

most crap works in Alliance Battles, that's not really an argument there.

you would just do a lot better with, for example, the Crippling Slash build Twinsoul just posted.

you are trying to base your Warrior on degen..it's bad. could just make a Necro or Ranger for that with a better result.

Hm... but I've gotten multiple gladiator points using a sword warrior virulence build... most teams can't deal with the conditions. Don't forget that virulence + bleeding is a lot of degeneration.

yes there is a degen cap you know :P

and disease will spread to you when you go into melee range which is kinda stupid as spaming plague touch, you'll keep getting diseased.

a lot fo stuff works in RA and AB

doesnt mean its good.
